ECOLOGICAL COMMISSION

"God created the world and all that is in it" - Psalms 24:1

Nature is the art of God and God owns it. Throughout the scripture we are reminded that God created the world for His purposes and we have the responsibility to take care of it. The energy hungry lifestyles human beings have its impact on nature to a great extent. We should live in a way that does not destroy the beauty or the resources of the earth for the future generations.

With a view to sensitize the members of our Church to the need to preserve God's gift to mankind – the Earth, an Ecological Commission was commissioned by our former diocesean Metropolitan H.G.Dr.Yuhanon Mar Diascoros.



Filling the Green

Until then every Church in the diocese look forward to the concept of keeping the greeneries active in the Church premises. We urge all of you to work with the Ecological Commission in conserving the environment.
